Is Oxidium the same as Google Chrome?

No. Oxidium is the Chromium-compatible browser core used by Oxygen Atmos browser profiles. Oxygen Atmos manages profiles, wallets, proxies, extensions, cookies, and settings around it. In the UI, browser versions are shown as Chrome major versions for compatibility with websites and extension tooling.

Why are some Chrome services missing?

Many Google and Chrome services are reduced or disabled to avoid unnecessary communication with external cloud services and reduce background work inside browser profiles. This can affect sync, suggestions, reporting, Safe Browsing checks, and other cloud-based features.

How should I keep a profile identity consistent?

Keep the full profile setup aligned:
  • proxy country and IP location
  • language and app language
  • timezone
  • geolocation
  • browser version
  • fingerprint
  • WebRTC policy
  • extensions
  • cookies and logged-in sessions
Changing only one setting can make the profile less coherent than updating the full browser identity together.

Can I use a profile without a proxy?

Yes. A profile can launch without a proxy. Use a profile-specific proxy when the profile needs a separate network location.

Which proxy protocols are supported?

The profile editor supports HTTP and SOCKS5. Auto mode is used for detection and import when a proxy value has no protocol. A proxy may support TCP only or both TCP and UDP.

How does UDP proxying work?

When the profile proxy supports UDP, Oxygen Atmos can send WebRTC, QUIC, and HTTP/3 traffic through it. If UDP cannot be proxied, Oxygen Atmos blocks that UDP traffic instead of allowing it to connect directly. The proxy remains usable for regular TCP traffic when UDP is unavailable.

Can WebRTC expose my real IP address?

Use Block unproxied UDP in Global settings or the profile editor. This policy prevents WebRTC and other UDP traffic from bypassing the profile proxy. UDP is either sent through the proxy or blocked.

How are extensions loaded?

Enabled global extensions load in every profile. Enabled tag-based extensions load only in profiles that share at least one assigned tag with the extension. Disabled extensions do not load in any profile.

When do extension changes apply?

Extension loading is calculated when a profile launches. Relaunch a profile after changing extension assignment, tags, or extension files.

Can one wallet be the main wallet in multiple profiles?

No. A wallet cannot be the main wallet for more than one profile at the same time. Each profile can have one main wallet per wallet type. Additional wallets can be linked when a main wallet of the same wallet type exists.

What happens if I exceed my membership limit?

Profiles above the membership profile limit are marked as excessive and cannot be used normally until the limit issue is resolved.

Where are cookies and social tokens applied?

Imported cookies and social tokens are saved as pending profile data. Oxygen Atmos applies them during the next browser profile launch. If the profile is already running, close and relaunch it.
